(Q)	I've never purchased from Alpha before. Who should I contact first?

(Q)	Which Alpha product would we need to purchase to protect an item in our store?
(A)	We have a High-Theft Solutions Search, a Keeper Selector and a Spider Wrap Selector all located on our website for your convenience.

(Q)	I am having difficulties operating my Alpha product, how can I be assisted?

(Q)	Can you send me a product catalog?
(A)	One of our account managers would be happy to provide you with a product catalog or information on a specific set of products. Please find the appropriate account manager listed under Sales Contacts.

(Q)	What are all of the products Alpha offers?
(A)	Alpha has a very broad range of high-theft security solutions which include Spider Wraps, Keepers (various sizes), Hard Tags, CableLoks, Bottle Wraps and Keys.

(Q)	How do you know when the batteries need to be replaced?
(A)	Reference that product’s manufacturer’s warranty.

(Q)	How durable are the Keepers?
(A)	Our keepers are made with Polycarbonate, which is the same thing bullet proof glass is made from, only thinner, so they are very sturdy; however, anything can be defeated given time and tools. Our products work in conjunction with your attentive sales team.

(Q)	What other retailers use Alpha products?
(A)	Alpha provides products to 48 of the top 50 retailers in the United States in addition to thousands of other retailers in the US and globally.

(Q)	How long has Alpha been in business?
(A)	Alpha was founded in 1972.

(Q)	Will the products ever deactivate?
(A)	Alpha products that utilize either AM (acousto-magnetic) or RF (radio frequency) ferrite rods cannot be deactivated.

(Q)	What happens when you pass it over the deactivation pad?
(A)	Alpha solutions containing ferrite coils will not be deactivated but Alpha products utilizing labels (such as frames) could be deactivated and care should be taken at check-out if a deactivation pad is used for products containing OEM labels. In some instances, the ferrite may cause the deactivator pad to emit a tone indicating that it has sensed an active label in its field and continue to chirp because it can’t deactivate it. Depending upon the specific deactivator, in other cases no chirps will be emitted.

(Q)	What happens if someone uses a booster bag to steal merchandise?
(A)	No security product is fool-proof and booster bags can severely limit detection; however Alpha has had amazing success rates with our 3 alarm products – when placed in booster bags, our 3 Alarm CableLoks™ and Hard Tags will often self-alarm even if the EAS gates do not! (Q)	Will a paper tag (security label) be deactivated through a Keeper?
(A)	Yes, if a product protected by an Alpha Keeper contains an OEM security label is passed over a deactivation pad, the security label will be deactivated.
